You will receive two emails from noreply@nwmissouri.edu, one with your username and one with your password. With this information, you can set up your Northwest email account.
Review your Degree Audit and see how your credit has been applied. We have a dedicated transfer advisor available to answer your questions.

Applying for the FAFSA allows you to find federal student aid depending on your family income and triggers Northwest to package an aid offer for you. Northwest's school code is 002496.

Completing your housing application determines the date you can select your room. Sign up early to be first in line!
Sign up for orientation in CatPAWS to initiate your enrollment. Even if you can not attend in person, we have an online option. Signing up lets us know you are ready to work with an advisor to enroll.

If you have not attended Northwest for 3 or more semesters, you are required to complete Orientation to enroll. If you have only been away for 1-2 semesters, you may reach out to your academic advisor or the Student Success Center to enroll.
Contact a transfer advisor at transfer@nwmissouri.edu or 660.562.1695. They will communicate with you through email, phone, or Zoom to review your credit and answer any questions you have.
Yes, transfer orientation is required. You may attend an in-person orientation date or complete the online orientation. Orientation initiates the enrollment process and provides important information about campus resources and academic success.
Living on campus is optional for transfer students. If you plan to live on campus, be sure to complete your application in the housing portal. If not, complete the Commuter Form.
An official transcript is required for the admissions process, which will allow you to enroll. Then, be sure to send a final official transcript after final grades are posted.
Your orientation experience will introduce you to campus organizations and events. The transfer team will also host transfer student events during Advantage, our welcome program, and throughout your time at Northwest. We look forward to helping you get involved and meet new friends!
