Program(s) Available: Pre-professional
Are you interested in working in the healthcare field and specializing in the lungs and heart? Northwest's pre-respiratory therapy teaches students how to support patients with breathing problems through the implementation of therapy and intervention. If you enjoy caring for others and making them feel reassured, a major in pre-respiratory therapy may be right for you!
Northwest offers pre-professional courses of study that encompass many careers. Many times these courses meet the admission requirements of professional schools, such as entrance tests, application deadlines and interviews. Northwest students are provided with an academic advisor whose role is to walk them through this process!
In many professions, no specific undergraduate major must be followed, and the student may major in any area of interest. Therefore, students should have both a pre-professional and a major advisor.
*Enrollment is not open to students on F-1 Visas for the pre-professional program.
