Wellness Education & Prevention
Suzanne graduated with her Bio/Psych degree from Northwest. After graduation, she worked in community non-profit before deciding to further her education by obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and working as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Previously, she served as a Registered Nurse with the University Wellness Center from 2011-2017. Since then, she has served in a variety of roles including Assistant Vice President of a local bank and most recently served as a Health Educator and RN with the Nodaway County Health Department.
As a lifelong Bearcat, Suzanne enjoys anything and everything Northwest. During her free time, Suzanne enjoys volunteering in the community, anything community engagement-related, photography, music, crafts, spending time with family and friends, playing with her dog (Bella), watching football, and attending games. In addition to being a diehard Bearcat fan, she enjoys keeping up with the Maryville Spoofhounds, Iowa Hawkeyes, and of course the KC Chiefs!
Suzanne is thrilled for the opportunity to come back “home” to the Northwest Family. She is looking forward to the opportunity to work with the students, faculty, and staff once again.
Her advice for current students is to get involved on campus and in the community, get to know University staff and professors, and most importantly, know that everyone on this campus genuinely cares about you and we are here for you!
