The Bias Response Team meets monthly to analyze reports and to identify any patterns of bias and discrimination that exist at Northwest identifying where improvements are needed in our climate to reduce future incidents as well as advancing overall goals concerning a welcoming institution culture and climate.
The Bias Response Team identifies and supports proactive community education as an integral part of creating an inclusive community and minimizing bias. In addition to collaborating with resolution resources on campus for addressing incidents, the Bias Response Team partners with Northwest stakeholders on developing educational programs and provides resources that increase cultural awareness.
