Upon discovering a fire, explosion or smoke in the building, activate the fire alarm by using a fire pull station. Exit the building immediately!
Call University Police at 660.562.1254. You should immediately evacuate the building using your preplanned evacuation routes. Do not use elevators.
If possible, provide assistance to mobility-impaired individuals by moving them to an emergency exit stairwell and closing the door. When it is safe for you to do so or if it is not possible for you to assist these individuals, call University Police at 660.562.1254 and give them instructions on where the individual is located within the facility.
Once out of the building gather at the preplanned assembly area.
Do not re-enter the building until notified by emergency personnel.
If someone is injured during the fire or evacuation, notify University Police at 660.562.1254.
