Media Manager Madi Nolte, from Chamois, Missouri, is majoring in multimedia journalism. She has worked as a photographer for the Northwest Missourian for four semesters, and recently began designing advertisements as well. Madi serves as the publicity officer for Northwest’s chapter of The Wildlife Society and is a member of both Bearcats Going Green and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She hopes to work as an environmental journalist following graduation, informing the public about current issues facing the natural world.
Multiplatform Content Creator Connor Pelan, from Omaha, Nebraska, is majoring in business management. Connor is a full-time student and is a member of the fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon. In the future, Connor would like to move to Boston, New York, with his girlfriend, put his business management degree to use in a big city, and start a family.
Digital Manager Elicia Reuscher, from Kansas City, Missouri, is a double major in interactive digital media: computer science and interactive digital media: visual imaging. Elicia is a full-time student with two part-time jobs. She is a technology coordinator for Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments and a teacher assistant for Northwest Missouri State University. Elicia is also the president of the Association of Computing Machinery-Women and is the mentee in the User Experience Professional Association of Kansas City mentorship program. Elicia will be graduating in Spring 2019, and will begin her software developer career at the Federal Bank of Kansas City after graduation.
Project Manager Ian Spradling, from Kansas City, Missouri, is majoring in management information systems. Ian is a non-traditional student who returned to complete a degree after working in Kansas City for 10 years and plans to graduate in Spring 2019. He will begin working for Cerner in the summer. Ian enjoys reading and camping in his free time.
Public Relations Manager Ellie Spunaugle, from Anchorage, Alaska, is majoring in marketing with a minor in sport management. She is part of the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success, serving as an executive board member. She also works on campus with the athletics department and off campus for Sporting K.C. and Casey’s. Ellie plans to graduate in May 2019. After graduation she would like to have a job either with a sports team or advertising agency. Ellie is looking forward to working with her Knacktive teammates and gaining real world experience.
Art Director Kayla Thomas, from St. Louis, Missouri, is majoring in interactive digital media: new media. Kayla is a full-time student and is in many extracurricular activities, such as being co-director of outreach for the User Experience Professional Association of Kansas City, being in Sigma Sigma Sigma, Adink: IDM Club, Communications Honors Society Club and The National Society of Leadership and Success. She has two jobs and two internships that are all on campus: web developer at The Missourian, marketing assistant at the Student Recreation Center, CX intern at the Marketing and Communications Department, and UX creative design intern at Eariously. Kayla plans on working as a UX Designer in Kansas City after graduating in May 2019.
Graphic Designer Kaelee Koranda, from St. Joseph, Missouri, is majoring in interactive digital media: new media. Kaelee is a full-time student and a part-time employee. On campus, she is the design editor for Tower yearbook and off campus she is a designer at Rapid Elite, a print shop in Maryville, Missouri. In her free time Kaelee is involved in Alpha Sigma Alpha and AdInk. She plans to graduate in May of 2020 and wants to work for an advertising agency in Kansas City, Missouri.
Marketing Strategist Mallory Kissinger, from Kansas City, Missouri, is double majoring in business management and marketing and minoring in sports management. Mallory is a full-time student and part-time employee maintaining three jobs as an office assistant, dance instructor, and a food server. She is also a member of Phi Mu Sorority and the Bearcat Steppers Dance Team. Mallory plans to graduate in May of 2020 and continue her education to receive an MBA with a focus on marketing, then eventually work in the marketing/advertising department for a professional sports team, specifically the Kansas City Chiefs or Kansas City Royals.
