We named our team Direct Connect because our team is comprised of straightforward people, and Velociti serves to connect people with better technologies. Direct Connect is a diverse team, which gives us a competitive edge and a deeper ability to connect with all types of people as we conduct our research. Members of Direct Connect study marketing, computer science, finance, graphic design, broadcasting, and management. We use our diverse strengths to serve our client in a well-rounded manner.
The Team
Interactive Digital Manager Prankur Malhotra, from New Delhi, India, is a senior majoring in computer science. He will graduate in May 2017 and plans to pursue a career in technology. He loves to play sports, especially soccer, cricket and hockey. His interests lie in various fields, such as athletics, technology and finance. He studied in an all-boys army boarding school from the age of 6 until coming to Northwest.
Media Manager Alexandra Melo-Mora, from Mississauga, Ontario, is a fifth-year senior majoring in interactive digital media: new media with a minor in broadcasting. She will be graduating in spring of 2017. After school she will be moving to Australia for nine months, and then plans to move back to Kansas City and find a job in advertising or event planning. She was born in Canada, and her parents are from Colombia, South America.
Strategic Planner Chloe White, from Grandview, Missouri, is a senior majoring in business management graduating in the fall. After graduation, she plans to go to Le Cordon Bleu in Paris for culinary arts school. She love to cook. I have a hamster named Turbo, and a fish named Bruce.
Graphic Designer Jasmine Banks, from St. Louis, Missouri, is a senior majoring in graphic design and will graduate in the spring of 2017. She wants to continue to grow as a designer and would eventually like to work for a marketing and advertising company, or Disney (her dream company). She likes spending time with family and friends and eating great food!
Public Relations Manager Carrie Egnatowski, from Willow Springs, Missouri, is a junior majoring in public relations and minoring in philosophy. She will be graduating in May 2018. She hopes to become a communications coordinator for a mental health non-profit organization. She was a psychology major until switching to PR during her sophomore year. She still has a passion for psychology and mental health, and hopes to find a way to combine that with communication.
Art Director Caitlyn Burkemper, from St. Louis, is a senior interactive digital media major with a concentration in visual imaging. She is in love with design and printmaking. While at Northwest Missouri State University she has served as a designer in various publications for Northwest Student Media, including The Northwest Missourian and Tower Yearbook.
Project Manager Jessica Lutz, from Maryville, is a senior majoring in marketing and sport management. She will graduate in December of 2017, and afterwards she hopes to work for a professional sports team. She has a wide range of interests, including sports, traveling and reading. This past spring she studied abroad in Milan, Italy, her favorite food is fried alligator, and she loves documentaries.
