Auditions for First-Year Student Play
“The Shady Lady: A Robust Blend of Privilege, Influence, and White-Collar Crime”

- All first-year students are eligible and encouraged to audition for any Theatre Northwest productions.
- Each year, Theatre Northwest produces a play, especially for its first-year students. Auditions for this year are at 6:30 PM, August 28, in the Studio Theater, Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts. The title of this year's play is “The Shady Lady: A Robust Blend of Privilege, Influence, and White-Collar Crime” by Kara Poe Atnip and Lisa Dellagiarino Feriend.
- Tips for preparation to participate in the first-year show:
- Please arrive by 6:15 PM to complete an audition form.
- If you have a resume, please bring one copy with you to submit to the director.
- Auditions for an acting role consist of your presenting two contrasting monologues of about one minute each. If you do not have any prepared, come anyway. Some will be provided for you.
- Rehearsals will begin Monday, September 2, and typically run from 6:30 - 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The show runs October 3-6, 2024.
