All students are asked to complete a Course Evaluation / Student Reflection for each course they are enrolled in toward the end of each semester. Students are emailed an invitation to take their survey, and another email on the last day the surveys are open reminding them about completing their evaluation. Each email contains a link they can click to go to the survey. A link to the survey is also available within their Northwest Online course site.

Instructors are given the opportunity to modify the dates and times the surveys are available, to better suit the needs of that course. The date and time they select must fall within the prescribed dates of the evaluation period for that semester, as determined by Faculty Senate.

The day after grades are due, faculty members may retrieve their results. Per Faculty Senate rules, results from courses in which there are 5 or fewer students enrolled, are not released to the faculty member. It is also important to note that there is no way any submission or comment made on a submission can be traced back to the person who made them.
