Whether you want to bring a group of students to Maryville or you just want to learn more about the university, we encourage high school counselors to visit the Northwest campus whenever possible. By visiting the campus you can learn more about Northwest Missouri State, its people, its programs, and how we want to truly help your students succeed. You can schedule a campus visit online or by calling 660.562.1562.
If you have a group of 10 or more students, in 8th grade or older who are looking for a great educational opportunity, bring them to Northwest for a day! Upon arrival, your group will be greeted by student ambassadors who will showcase our beautiful campus to you. The tour will last approximately 1 1/2 hours. Following your tour, your group will meet with an admissions representative who will discuss the admissions process, financial assistance and scholarships. They are also available to answer any questions that you or your students may have.
Students in your group have the option of bringing their own lunch to enjoy anywhere on campus, such as Colden Pond, The Centennial Gardens or The Bell Tower. If your group prefers, they can purchase lunch at the J. W. Jones Student Union where there’s a food court with many dining options.
The Office of Admissions welcomes group visits on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. We ask that you register at least two weeks before your visit to give us ample time to prepare for you. To schedule a group tour, please call 660.562.1562 or 660.562.1587.
We look forward to seeing your group here at Northwest Missouri State University!
