The health communication minor combines disciplines from both the School of Communication and Mass Media and the School of Health Science and Wellness. In this program, you’ll learn how to communicate effectively when it matters most.
Areas of study include doctor to patient communication, public health campaigns, overall health messaging and more. You'll learn how to connect with others within the healthcare field to achieve certain goals and outcomes. This program is communication heavy, meaning your writing skills will increase tremendously!
Even if you don't know exactly what you want to do after college, this minor complements many other programs and gives students the opportunity to explore careers within related fields.
