Program(s) Available: Pre-professional
Are you someone who is an educator and motivator as well as someone who cares about oral health and dental disease prevention? Dental hygienists develop community health programs, research best practices and serve as consultants in dental care.
The pre-dental hygiene program provides students with a well-rounded science foundation that meets the requirements for enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene program. Students gain hands-on experience by practicing with an artificial cadaver and experimenting with three-dimensional shaping.
We firmly believe in learning by doing. Partnerships with local dentists allow for profession-based learning experiences such as job shadowing and observation opportunities!
*Enrollment is not open to students on F-1 Visas for the pre-professional program.
