Northwest proudly supports community recycling by providing convenient drop-off hours for residents of Maryville and the surrounding region. Community residents should follow the signs to pull into the Recycling Center building and deposit recyclables in the appropriate bin. Recyclables should be sorted but not bagged. Staff members are on hand to assist or answer questions when needed.
Corrugated cardboard boxes
Cardboard should be clean and dry. Please flatten boxes.
White copy/printer paper, magazines and catalogs, newspapers, paper bags, paper egg cartons, junk mail, and paperboard (cereal and food boxes)
Paper should be clean and dry with no spiral bindings or plastic bags.
#1 plastic (PET or PETE) such as drink bottles and food containers, #2 plastic (HDPE) such as milk and water jugs, and #2 colored plastic (HDPE) such as detergent bottles and shampoo bottles
Plastic containers with resin codes #3, #4, #5, #6, and #7 are not accepted. Rinse containers and discard lids.
Bottles and jars
No light bulbs, window glass, mirrors, cookware, or window glass. Rinse containers and discard lids.
Aluminum beverage cans, tin/steel food cans
Please rinse food cans.
Documents for confidential shredding are accepted Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.The confidential shredding fee for non-Northwest departments is $0.25 per pound.
