Biology is the study of all forms of life, whether single cells, whole plants and animals, or the environment in which they live. Northwest’s biology programs pave the way to successful careers in research labs, organizations that study and conserve all forms of life, or various health care related fields.
What is your goal after graduation? You can use one of our many biology programs to prepare for a variety of different types of careers. Depending on your goal, select one of the majors below as your pathway to success.

Minors: You may want to combine a major from a different field of study with one of our minors.
“One of the biggest transferable skills I got from Northwest to go forward in my career is the lab experience. I have done multiple techniques in my upper-level courses that other students in larger universities don't have the opportunity to do.”
– Jordan Unger
