Northwest Missouri State University students of all majors are invited to audition for Mainstage and student-directed Lab Series productions being staged during Theatre Northwest’s fall season.
Theatre Northwest’s 2023-2024 season features seven productions beginning with “A Fall Evening of One-Acts,” Sept. 22-23. The fall schedule continues Oct. 5-8 with the 33rd annual First-Year Showcase, “Launch Day: (Love Stories from the Year 2108),” and “Little Women,” Nov. 9-12, before concluding with the annual Alpha Psi Omega children's show on Dec. 10.
The spring schedule features the second annual Theatre Northwest Playfest Jan. 22 through Feb. 3; “Miracle on South Division Street,” March 1-2; and “Radium Girls,” April 11-14.
Audition times for fall productions are provided below; all auditions are in the Studio Theater at the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts. Auditions for spring shows will be Jan. 10-13.
Students must complete a general audition form. Cold readings will be provided for all first-year students and non-majors; returning theatre majors must present two contrasting pieces no longer than two minutes.
