Career Services programs, resources help enhance student success, networking

Aug. 24, 2022 | By Kourtnie Stenwall, communication assistant

Northwest Missouri State University Career Services is again providing students with opportunities this fall to seek internships and network with prospective employers through varied activities and resources.

“These events allow students to begin to build professional networks by interacting with employers in various ways,” said Hannah Christian, the director of Career Services. “By coming to our events and participating in the activities, students discover internship and career opportunities, build confidence, and many often have job offers before they graduate.”

In addition to the networking events, Career Services offers resources to help students with résumés and cover letters, searches for internships and jobs, and preparation for interviews.

Learn more about Career Services resources and events below, or visit Career Services between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday on the first floor of the Administration Building.
