Three staff members employed at Northwest Missouri State University have graduated from the spring 2022 cohort of Leadership Northwest Missouri, an annual program that brings together existing and emerging leaders from throughout a 19-county region to hone their leadership skills, explore regional issues and build connections.
Marsha Martin, a general project assistant with Northwest’s Regional Professional Development Center; Dr. Brooke McAtee, the director of the University’s nursing program; and Brett White, a staff member with Northwest Campus Dining; joined 17 other participants representing organizations throughout northwest Missouri to engage with business, community and government leaders through panel discussions, presentations and experiences that survey needs, resources and opportunities within the region.
The 2022 cohort began with a two-day retreat in January at Conception Abbey, and participants gathered monthly in locations throughout the region. The series concluded July 14 with a graduation celebration in Jamesport, Missouri.
Leadership Northwest Missouri was founded in 1999 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. For a complete list of alumni, including other Northwest employees who are graduates of the program, visit https://leadershipnorthwestmissouri.org/alumni/.
