Northwest Missouri State University has announced options for students to return textbooks and laptops as the fall semester concludes.
The University has provided students with instructions to return their textbooks and laptops by visiting the Northwest campus in Maryville, Northwest-Kansas City in Gladstone or by shipping them to the Maryville campus. Specific details are provided below.
Textbooks and laptops must be returned by noon Friday, Dec. 18, to avoid late fees.
Students seeking additional information about returning textbooks should contact Textbook Services at nwtxbk@nwmissouri.edu. Students seeking additional information about returning laptops should contact the University’s technology Help Desk at helpdesk@nwmissouri.edu.
Students who are able to return textbooks and laptops by visiting the Northwest campus in Maryville may do so during regular business hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, starting Wednesday, Nov. 18, at The Station. The University will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 25, through Friday, Nov. 27, for Thanksgiving break.
Students who are graduating or have not pre-registered for the spring semester may return laptops with their stickered AC adapter and cord during the same times at the Jon T. Rickman Electronic Campus Support Center on the Maryville campus or at Northwest-Kansas City. Students who are pre-registered for the spring semester may keep their laptop during winter break.
Students may also return textbooks and laptops at Northwest-Kansas City, located at 6889 N. Oak Trafficway in Gladstone, Missouri. Northwest-Kansas City will open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, Nov. 30 through Dec. 18.
Students with questions about returning textbooks or laptops at Northwest-Kansas City should call its office at 816.272.4621.
Students who cannot return their textbooks or laptops to Northwest’s Maryville or Gladstone locations should use a UPS return label provided by the University to ship their items.
Students should print the label and ship textbooks, allowing enough time for the books to arrive before the Dec. 18 deadline. Shipping costs for packages shipped after Dec. 18 will be paid by the student, and students returning any items after that date will incur charges for the items that are not returned plus a late fee.
