A long-standing spring tradition continues on the Northwest Missouri State University campus April 1-5 when students participate in Northwest Week.
The week, organized by the Student Activities Council (SAC), celebrates the University through social activities geared toward Northwest students.
The week includes a Twitter scavenger hunt, petting zoo, a food truck and live music as well as T-shirt and donut giveaways and a wax hand activity. The week also coincides with Northwest’s annual Thank a Donor Day activities on April 2.
“The goal is to have at least one activity or event every day for students to participate in,” Brady Netzel, Student Activities Council’s Northwest traditions director, said. “We wanted to keep a few events from last year that went well while also having new, unique activities on campus. Students are encouraged to participate in all of the activities because they were chosen by students, for the students. The activities and events chosen this year are great ways for them to connect more to Northwest than ever before.”
A complete schedule of Northwest Week activities is provided below. For more information about Northwest Week, contact SAC at 660.562.1226 or sacnwtrad@nwmissouri.edu.
