Publishing Process
When you have made the edits to your site and submitted the content, it will automatically submit a workflow to to review your edits. Depending on your permissions one of two processes should take place
- If you have publish permissions, like a custodian (manager) role, you can see the edits and publish them as soon as they are ready. FAQ: I published my page, why isn't it live? It can take a few minutes and may be in the publish queue. Or you may need to refresh your browser.
- If you are a contributor (editor), the custodian (manager) or the web team will receive the request and review your edited content as soon as possible (please note, this could take up to 24 hours), and publish the changes.

Servers
When publishing general updates, publishing will go to all servers. We have two types of servers:
- production (live servers) - live content viewable to the general public
- a test server - viewable only while using campus IP address (connected to internet via wi-fi, VPN or hard line). If working on a new site or testing new things, the test server (referred to as 'wilt') may be used for proofing and testing before making thing public on the 'live servers'.
