As a Bearcat Builder, you will be providing a scholarship to a Northwest Missouri State University student who demonstrates high campus engagement in a discipline of your choosing. AND, an extra bonus - you will do so in honor of one of the Bearcats at your organization!
How it works:
- Donate $1,000 to Northwest’s Bearcat Builder scholarship fund. Better yet, you can endow your scholarship and have it awarded forever!
- YOU decide what Bearcat in your organization you want to honor by naming the scholarship after them. Maybe it’s a longstanding employee, an intern who did phenomenal work or one of your customers. It truly is your choice.
- You send Northwest the name of the individual to be honored and their contact information.
- The University selects a student to receive the “Company – Bearcat Alum Scholarship” (ex. Green Company – Bobby Bearcat Scholarship) for the upcoming academic year.
- You as well as the honored Bearcat alum and the selected student will all be invited to participate in a celebratory event where both the student and your Bearcat alum will be honored and your organization recognized for its generous support.
