Bearcat Day of Green will take place on April 2 and 3, 2025.

Bearcat Day of Green is Northwest’s annual giving challenge lasting 1905 minutes - in honor of Northwest's founding year. The purpose is for the Bearcat community – alumni, employees, students, parents, and friends – to come together and assist in the various initiatives and programs at Northwest Missouri State University.

What’s Your Cause?

Bearcat Day of Green is your chance to support what matters most to YOU at Northwest! With seven key initiatives and multiple designated funds within each, you can give to the area that speaks to you:

🏆 Athletics – Support Bearcat student-athletes in their pursuit of excellence on and off the field.
🐾 Bearcats Supporting Bearcats – Help students facing unexpected financial hardships through essential support services.
📻 KXCV-KRNW – Keep public radio thriving and hands-on learning opportunities strong.
📚 Academics – Enhance learning with updated equipment, technology, and research opportunities.
🎓 Scholarships – Provide life-changing support for students working toward their degrees.
🏡 Student Life – Enrich the Bearcat experience through campus programs, student organizations, and leadership development.
💙 The Northwest Fund – Fuel the university’s greatest needs, from classroom innovation to campus enhancements.

Ways to participate in the Bearcat Day of Green

Donate!

Give online during the event.

Gifts of any size add up to have a big impact! Participants in Bearcat Day of Green may choose to give to areas such as academic excellence, scholarships and Bearcat athletics. Gifts may also be designated to specific initiatives such as Bearcats Supporting Bearcats, KXCV-KRNW and Student Life. Additionally, donors may choose to give to the Northwest Fund, an unrestricted fund that supports the University’s most significant needs.
