Scholarly Activity

My research focus lies on advancing social justice and equity in art education. I address the limited attention paid to the artists, artworks, and experiences of people of color in art education, mainly focusing on Asian and Asian American representation. Also, I am interested in curriculum development, where students connect their lived experiences with the course contents, critically examine their learning, and challenge social issues.
