Minor in General Business

Students choosing the Minor in General Business must take the following courses:

52-151 General Economics II (Microeconomics) 3
53-311 Business Law I 3
53-324 Fundamentals of Business Finance 3
54-310 Managerial Communication 3
54-313 Principles of Management 3
55-330 Principles of Marketing 3
Total Minor Requirements 24

Students who take the Minor in General Business are encouraged to take General Economics (Macroeconomics; 52-150), as a liberal studies requirement in social sciences.

Students with a comprehensive major in any business discipline requiring the common professional component are not permitted to minor in general business. This minor is intended for non-business majors.
