Assistant Vice President of University Advancement
Jill Brown became Northwest’s Assistant Vice President of University Advancement in November 2024. She previously served as Director of Corporate Relations/Major Gift Officer for three years and prior to that was Director of Partnerships and Placement where she oversaw the Career Services office and was pivotal in furthering the profession-based learning relationships and opportunities for Bearcats. Since arriving at Northwest in late 2017, Jill has been instrumental in creating new engagement opportunities such as the Career Closet which has provided free professional clothing to hundreds of Bearcats.
Prior to becoming a Bearcat, she worked in various external relations focused positions at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln including public relations, legislative affairs, alumni and donor engagement, employer development and student recruitment.
In addition, Jill is active in Lions Club in Maryville and travels the country as a resiliency speaker for Chi Omega Sorority. She also has her own business, Collisions of Awesomeness, where she speaks about gratitude, networking, and a variety of other personal development topics.
Jill and her husband, Lee, live in Mound City and their daughter, Kenzie is a early childhood education major at Northwest.
