About

I'm the new Alumni Relations and Communications Specialist at Northwest. Prior to this role, I worked at Missouri Valley College in their alumni and marketing departments. Directly after college, I pursued teaching as a high school spanish teacher in St. Joseph, Missouri. I continue virtual tutoring in Spanish but wanted to work in the communication and marketing side of my degrees. 

As a student, I participated in multiple organizations around campus. Singing in Celebration, Tower Choir, University Chorale, and held roles in two musicals, and was a member of Sigma Alpha Iota Music Sorority. I worked numerous campus jobs including, Career Services Career Ambassador, University Police Dispatcher, and University Marketing and Communications Event Intern. I also participated in campus organizations CRU Ministry, St. Jude Executive Board, and Northwest ComCats. I loved cheering on Bearcat Athletics and never missed a home football game. 

My husband, Seth, and I live in Maryville with our dog Scooby. We enjoy traveling to see family and friends, walking our dog, spending time outdoors, and cooking/baking. 

I'm excited at the opportunity to work for my alma mater. Once a Bearcat, always a Bearcat!
