Description

The focus of this visit day is for seniors and their families to be on campus to meet one-on-one with various campus offices. They can meet with staff to get help with the housing application, selecting a roommate, registering for SOAR, asking about dual credit/AP/courses/four year plans, FAFSA, scholarships, and anything else Admissions-process related.

This event is NOT mandatory and does not replace SOAR.

All activities are held in the J.W. Jones Student Union unless otherwise specified.

9 - 9:15 a.m.	Welcome by Dr. Hoffmann
9:15 - 9:30 a.m.	Break / Get to Workshops
9:30 - 11:30 a.m.	Workshops Financial Aid Residential Life SOAR Advisement and Transfer Services IT Helpdesk Accessibility and Accommodations
8:30-11 a.m.	Student Services Fair Areas that will be present: Wellness Services, Student Employment, TRIO, Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI), Office of Student Involvement (OSI), Recreation, Honors Program, Career Services, University Police, Library, Study Abroad and more!

Additional Opportunities

Students can eat lunch on campus at any time

Three opportunities for a 75-minute campus tour: 10 - 11:15 a.m. | 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. | 10:45 A.M. - Noon
R.T. Wright Farm tour available from 12:15 - 1 p.m.
Students and guests attending will also have the opportunity to attend a Bearcat Football game, courtesy of the Admissions Office. The Bearcats will take on Pittsburg State with kickoff at 1:30 PM. **Please note this in your registration to confirm your tickets.

Individual Academic Appointments are not available, but our Academic Advisors will be present in a group setting. To set up a time with faculty, please register for a Daily Visit to meet one-on-one.
