It's important to understand our society. How to connect, advocate, educate and debate social topics. Every individual is different so learning what shapes their behaviors through the study of sociology is motivation to a better future.
Northwest's sociology 24 credit hour minor is compatible with many different majors, as coursework examines the underlying patterns of society and human relationships across social institutions, human services, and communities. Students will look forward to courses such as criminology, urban sociology and race and ethnic issues in modern society.
