N'niniah Freelon

Northwest students are Career Ready. Day One.

Faculty and staff made me feel secure and safe. They checked in on me. They made sure that we are ok. Of course, school comes first, but they checked in on me and made sure I had the help and resources to succeed as a student.

The Northwest Experience

N’niniah Freelon is passionate about being a positive influence on others, especially children.

N’niniah chose her major because she wanted to make a difference in the lives of children and be the role model she needed growing up. During her time at Northwest, she found people who supported her academically and personally.

When she came to campus, N’niniah said she felt like she did not have a home, but the faculty, staff and students on campus pushed her to succeed in and out of the classroom.

The skills N’niniah learned in the classroom and through personal interactions with faculty, staff and students ensured she graduated career ready, day one.
