Michael chose Northwest because he came from a family of Bearcats. It offered smaller class sizes with hands-on learning opportunities and was close to home. He majored in business to continue his family’s legacy, but was also excited about the vast career opportunities in the field.
He attributes his success at Northwest to the caring and experienced faculty who bring their years of real-world experiences to the classroom and provide practical examples that apply to his assignments.
Although Michael came from a small town and considers himself an introvert, his time at Northwest helped him gain the confidence to develop team-building skills, foster relationships and become more outgoing, allowing him to achieve Outstanding Finance Major of the Year during his junior and senior years.
