The Northwest Experience

Having heard stories from family members of their time at the University, coupled with its proximity to home and affordability, made Northwest the right decision for Maile.

Unsure of how she wanted to apply her interest in science, her coursework in microbiology, human physiology and other classes helped her realize her passion for medicine. Faculty and staff provided her with the encouragement, support and guidance she needed to continue her education by applying to medical school.

Maile gained valuable study tips and techniques, as well as leadership skills during her time as a student instructor in the Student Success Center, that will aid her future endeavors, ensuring she is career ready, day one.
