Jennifer Cervantes grew up in agriculture in Elko, Nevada, and found her passion for agricultural science during high school. The hands-on learning she experienced at Northwest grew her passion, and she is excited to share it with others.
Courses such as School and Society, Agriculture Mechanics and Agriculture Advocacy, paired with the guidance of the faculty and staff, helped Jennifer learn the skills she needed to succeed after she graduates. She gained a range of skills from crop science to becoming a leader in and out of the classroom, and now she can teach her own students. The connections she made with fellow Bearcats prepared her to be career ready, day one.
