Asma had plans to attend another university in Missouri, but a student-guided tour at Northwest changed her mind. She fell in love with the campus and decided it would become her home.
Although Asma felt everyone was a step ahead of her, she was persistent. She challenged herself to meet someone new each week. Her involvement in Student Senate pushed her to listen to others and gain different perspectives.
Northwest gave her a sense of self and courage and prepared her for law school.
