Senior Major Gift Officer
I grew up on a small farm just east of Independence, Missouri and graduated from Fort Osage High School in 1984. I finished my degree in Broadcasting/Business at Northwest in 1988 and began a career in radio shortly thereafter. My professional career has included work in commercial radio sales, customer service within the finance industry, professional voiceover talent for radio and television, and magazine distribution through both the U.S. mail and on newsstands. Life’s journey has taken me from Independence to Maryville to Liberty to Southwest Florida and back again to Maryville. I returned to Northwest in June 2013 as the Underwriting Sales Executive for KXCV/KRNW and then moved over to the Advancement office as a Major Gift Officer in January 2017.
I am the past-president of the Maryville Host Lions club and also serve as a volunteer within the Maryville community in a variety of other roles during my time living here. In my free time I enjoy working in my wood shop, hiking and renovating our 19th-Century home.
I am a father of three daughters and grandfather to Shea, Max and Townes. My wife, Andrea, is also a Bearcat and serves as the Curriculum Designer and Reading Specialist at Horace Mann Elementary Lab School on the Northwest campus.
