    Academic Search Complete is a comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary database "with more than 8,500 full-text periodicals, including more than 7,300 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 12,500 journals and a total of more than 13,200 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc."
  • The Association for Computing Machinery contains "subscriptions to all ACM journals and magazines, both in print and online, including an archive of from the 1950's forward (where available). Today, with the new ACM Portal to Computing Literature, ACM is able to fully integrate the Online Guide to Computing Literature, an enormous bank of over 320,000 bibliographic citations extending far beyond ACM's proprietary literature, covering all types of core works in computing, such as journals, proceedings, books, technical reports and thesis!"   • AGRICOLA (AGRICultural OnLine Access) is a bibliographic index of the agricultural literature created by the National Agricultural Library and its cooperators. Production of these records in electronic form began in 1970, but the database covers materials in all formats, including printed works from the 15th century. The records describe publications and resources encompassing all aspects of agriculture and allied disciplines, including animal and veterinary sciences, entomology, plant sciences, forestry, aquaculture and fisheries, farming and farming systems, agricultural economics, extension and education, food and human nutrition, and earth and environmental sciences. Although AGRICOLA does not contain the materials, thousands of AGRICOLA records are linked to online full-text documents, with new links being added every day.

  • The Northwest Missourian is the current campus newspaper for Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri. Its predecessor, The Green and White Courier, began publishing November 14, 1914. The Green and White Courier continued until September 27, 1926, when its name changed to our current Northwest Missourian. The newspaper has had a variety of changes over the years in regard to the printed size and how often it was printed. "When money was scarce and printing help hard to get, the Northwest Missourian was printed as part of the Maryville Democrat Forum. During the Second World War it became a 'wartime miniature,' nine inches by twelve." The newspaper at times was printed weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
