Locating Periodicals in Owens Library

Library Catalog Method A-Z Periodicals List Search

  1. From the Owens Library home page at <http://www.nwmissouri.edu/library/>, click Library Catalog.
  2. Click JOURNAL, MAGAZINE & NEWSPAPER.
  3. Enter the unabbreviated name of the periodical in the search box.
        Example: Studies in Short Fiction
  4. Click Search.
  5. Click the title which best matches your search and/or view the full record. The call number is listed in the Location line.
  6. Record the floor from the location link, call number, and format (e.g., bound or microfiche) of the periodical.

Periodical formats in the Owens Library building:
Bound and most Unbound issues are located in the periodical stacks on 2nd floor.
Microfiche are in the microfiche cabinets on 2nd floor.
Microfilm are in the microfilm cabinets on 2nd floor.
Gov Doc is the Government Documents Collection on 1st floor.
Reference is the Reference Collection on 1st floor.
Reserve is at the Library Services Desk on 1st floor.
