The Northwest Experience

Dalton Haberman's charismatic personality, passion and commitment to the Bearcat Marching Band and Northwest community helped him find multiple networking opportunities, long-lasting friendships and the skills to be a successful teacher.

Haberman graduated in the spring with his bachelor's degree in instrumental music education.

During his first year at Northwest, he joined the Phi Mu Alpha men's music fraternity and served on the executive board.

"It was so easy being around those guys. I was able to help my brothers grow not only in the fraternity, but as men, future leaders and future educators."

Being a drum major and member of the Bearcat Marching Band and cheering for the athletic teams are among his favorite memories of Northwest.

"It is just a circle of energy going around. You are excited to be there and be around Bearcats who are cheering on other Bearcats. It is like nothing I have experienced before."
